Business and/or personal Mission Statement

Quimper Academy is a multi--aged, non-denominational educational center with a focus on family centered learning opportunities. We form a partnership between students, parents and teacher to create an individualized course of study for each student. Quimper Academy fosters academic excellence, personal integrity and life long learning in a setting that supports family and nourishes sustainable communities.

Format of learning center

Individual conferences and/or weekly classes. Learning styles, interests, and academic skills drive the curriculum designed for each student. Classes integrate a variety of academic disciplines (language arts, science, art, local history, math, geography, music, business) into hands-on projects and field experiences. As the Teacher/Consultant of Quimper Academy, I create curriculum, assess progress and act as a resource to connect students with community mentors/tutors.
